Turkey Trot Training

Have you wanted to run the Turkey Trot Thanksgiving 5K but worry about injury or aren't sure where to start with the training? In this 8-week small group training program participants will meet weekly with one of our experienced personal trainers to gain the strength and mobility to stay injury-free throughout run training and receive a beginner’s run plan in order to prepare for the race on Thursday, November 28 at the Toonerville Trail in Springfield.

Our Turkey Trot Training program includes:

  • Custom strength training plan

  • Beginners running training plan

  • 8 weekly strength training sessions and check-ins

This training will run Wednesdays, November 6-27 from 5:30-6:15pm in the Fitness Center. Registration is required. For more information, contact Zoe Lirakis.
