Join Run Like Ardy on Independence Day for the inaugural Springfield Stars & Stripes Fun Run & Walk. The event starts and finishes at the Toonerville Trail, 280 Clinton Street. The course is a mostly flat 7.4K run or 4K walk out-and-back along the scenic Black River. The run/walk benefits the Springfield High School Cross Country program. Prizes will be given for first place finishers, best costume, and more. Register online or fill out a paper form at the EdgarMay through July 2.
