Adventure Vacation Camp is exploring the Arts. In addition to swimming, games, field trips, and other activities, we will be engage with arts and artists in our community. Campers may participate in all five days of activities or sign up for individual days.
Monday, December 23: The theme of the day is photography. A local artist will visit the EdgarMay to share his passion for the medium. We will then have the opportunity to take our own pictures and make our own frames. The day also includes swimming and other activities.
Friday, December 27: Camp heads to Chester to Endless Creations where we will learn all about pottery. Each camper will have the opportunity to paint their own piece. We will then head back at the EdgarMay for swimming, BOGA, and more.
Monday, December 30: A local quilter will join us to share her love for the craft. Campers will make our own paper quilts followed by swimming and other crafts and activities.
Thursday, January 2: We will venture to the Brattleboro Museum and Art Center where we will get to tour the museum and create our own work of art! Back at the EdgarMay, we will be swimming and engaging in other game and activities.
Friday, January 3: Lights! Camera! Action! Our focus on the arts will take us to the local movie theater (movie to be announced)! Later, we will be at the Springfield Community Center for an afternoon of fun!
