The 2023 Vermont Senior Games Swimming Championships will be held at the Edgar May Health and Recreation Center on Sunday, May 21. The competition is open to anyone at least 50 years old by December 31, 2023. Out-of-state swimmers are welcome to participate. While 2023 is not a qualifying year for the National Senior Games, this event is a good preparation opportunity for any swimmer planning to compete at this year’s Nationals in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Athlete check-in will begin at 8:45am. Warm-ups start at 9:00am, and the first event goes at 10:00am. The entry fee is $35, and athletes can swim in up to six events. There will be 14 different races to choose from, covering various strokes and distances. More information on races and registration can be found at www.vermontseniorgames.org. Registration is due by Sunday, May 14.
