How it Works
To enroll in the Corporate Membership Program employers pay an "Annual Access Fee" based on the size of their business. Once the Access Fee has been paid all employees of that business are eligible for:
25% off membership fees (including Family Memberships)
One FREE 60-Minute Training Session per Quarter
25% off Group Exercise Classes
The employer receives:
A FREE quarterly educational seminar on a variety of health related topics
More active and healthy employees for improved performance and output

The Edgar May Health and Recreation Center wants to work with you to create the best wellness plan to meet your employees’ health, wellness, and activity needs. We can create specific plans based on the realities that exist within the company to meet employees’ goals.
A recent four-year study of approximately 8,000 health plan members over the age of 40 found striking differences in health-care expenses incurred by inactive individuals compared to those living a more active and healthier lifestyle.
Less Active People Cost More:
Low-activity individuals incurred $726 in additional health-care expenses compared to active members. Completely inactive individuals had more than $1,500 in additional charges.
Charges Increased with Excess Weight:
$1,245 extra for overweight persons and $2,152 extra for obese persons per year compared to members with health weights.
The study associated that 23.5% of all medical charges to inactivity and excess body weight.
